On my way up the hill while i was trekking, trekking sure i was! Unaware a day before that i would and unprepared on the day i had to go trekking. Imagine when a female is trekking on a heel. Oh yes i was trekking with a sock and a pair of heels on :) with a bunch of friends with me. I did manage to reach a water fall. Hmm this is where the saga began. Lets see who things unfold.
The pranks that people play around, my friends wanted to play the fool with the then precious kodak camera that i had loaned from my mom, off course without her knowledge. This time around though one of them was joking and the other was not and there went the camera high up in the air just above the water fall, directed towards the prankster who was shocked himself to see what had happened and there went the camera in the water and so did the only protection i was wearing on my foot while i was trekking, oooooooops. I wonder what was more painful.
At that very moment we were well into the forest, it was a forest in the western ghats and a more than 5 km to go to the inn we had camped. Oh ya we had to go to a peak(probably on the hill :)) our destination. To my amazement to date. After all the melodrama over the camera or the heal i don't know what seemed most important to me then. I just told my friends we should go to the peak and i did manage to lead and find the path top all alone in just a pair of socks. Hmmm, i don't think i would say i would do it; had anyone asked me if i could. My reply would probably be "your nuts".
But things do happen and we survive don't we? Come to think of it i don't think any one of us would actually believe we would be able to survive the catastrophe that lie in front of us. I'm sure a 2 month old kid who was a victim of tsunami would have never thought, (if at all a kid could think so deeply) that he would end up in a family with so much of love and affection and everything in abundance. Name it and he had it :). I dont know if Narayan Murthy who could not afford to pay for his own education ever thought he would be responsible and contribute to the education of thousands in India(Kudos to him).
I'm sure half of us who looked at a fail or a last in the class result while we were still learning the wonders of life had some food for our ever hungry mind to ponder on during our education in life, ever thought we would be able to ever stand first in class at that moment. But didnt we take it as a challenge and prove it that we had it in us. Didn't we prove to me, to my parents, to the amazement to people who loved us and the aw of people who thought or said "He is useless"?
Yes we did. Any problem be it small or big. I believe we have the will power, the inner strength to come out of it smiling. So lets just believe we can and make this earth a better place to live in.
All smiles :)

wonderful read :)
There was this General (I forget his name) he was reading physics in his spare time. In this book it explained that the size of neucleus in an atom is about the size of a bee in a football stadium, from which he concluded that the atom was mostly empty space. Since everthing is made of atoms, the wall in his room is made of atoms, hence his wall is mostly just empty space. He then decided he willl be able to walk through walls. He got up looked straight at his wall started running straight at it (u can guess what happened) . He genuinely believed that he could walk through it. Your blog post basically says keep running into the wall and eventually you'll be able to walk through it. Happy walking.
